Sex and Swingers on Oprah

A couple week ago Oprah did a show about sex in the suburbs. I caught the last half hour or so of the show. The first segment I saw was about women cheating on their husbands. As if that wasn't bad enough the ending segment was about swingers.

I really don't care what 2 or 4 consenting adults choose to do in their bedrooms or where ever else they choose to do it. What really upset me is that one of the couples who came on the show had three teenage children at home. Being a teen is hard enough kids don't need their parents going in front of millions of viewers talking about their sex life.

Come on people get a clue!!

Star Jones Left the View

I am not an avid viewer of The View but I do watch it from time to time. I missed yesterday's show when Star Jones announced that she was leaving because ABC didn't want her back. I heard on the radio yesterday afternoon that she was leaving but that was all I heard.

This morning I had ABC on right at 11:00 and heard Barbra Walters' announcement about how Star surprised ever body yesterday on the show by telling everybody ABC didn't want her back in the fall and she wouldn't be returning. I was quite surprised by this. Barbara also said that Star's last day was yesterday.

Well ABC better get somebody else in there soon. With Meredeth and Star gone and Rosie not starting until fall the show is going to be really boring!

NBC Screws with Starting Over Fans

Rumor has it that the so called viewer line that NBC set up for Starting Over Fans is just a way to shut them up. Starting Over fans are now pissed off that NBC is just ignoring them. Viewers are now talking about marching outside of the NBC studios during the Today Show.

Now that just might get NBC's attention...

Get a Clue Oprah!

Am I the only person who thinks this whole James Frey / Oprah thing is hilarious? The fact that Oprah is blown away that a drug addict would lie is cracking me up. We all know it's not the fact that James Frey lied but the fact that Oprah screwed up that she is upset about. Maybe instead of making herself look better by calling James Frey out she should educate herself a bit more about drug addiction.

I think Oprah also needs to make sure her own staff does their work. Oprah you screwed up just as much as James Frey and his publishers. Who would have thought a lying drug addict would be the one the make queen Oprah look bad.

So we have a unknown drug addict who wrote a book with lies in it. Then one of Oprah's staff reads the book and liked it. Oprah brought the guy on her show and his book became a best seller. People accuse this guy of lying and his book gets even more people buying it. Oprah has him on the show again and his book gets even more press.

So lying to Oprah makes people money! Let's all lie to Oprah.

I am a big fan of the Fox show "Family Guy". Stewie, the baby who wants to take over the world just cracks me up . The Traveling Family Guy's STEWIE!!!!! listing on Ebay really caught my attention. I think those traveling item ideas are really fun too.

TLC stopped airing Starting Over

Wow, many Starting Over Fans are really upset because The Learning Channel has stopped airing the Show. TLC didn't give any warning but when fans tuned in the watch Starting Over at its regular time it wasn't there. Starting over is a cross between a reality TV show and a Soap Opera. As you can imagine Starting Over has some very devoted fans who are currently in withdrawal.

Nice move TLC!

TV is so Gay!

  I now have a new channel on cable called LOGO. It's been very education to me too. I learned that gay men like the show Golden Girls and Designing Women. I also learned that gay people really like shows with a supernatural themes like Bewitched and I Deam of Jeanie because they can identify with having something to hide. It took a bit for me to figure out that LOGO wasn't a new TV Land Channel but was a new gay network.

So LOGO is the network that all the Conservatives are freaking out over?  Give me a break, the channel is not here to convert you over to the other side. If you don't want to watch it turn off your TV or change the channel. Better yet learn to use the V-Chip or your cable control to block the channel. Dare I suggest that you try watching it to educate yourselves?

If we can have 27 sports channels, 15 news channels, and 13 religious channels why can't we have a gay channel too?

Please put a Muzzle on Him

Somebody please put a muzzle on Tom Cruise! Why oh why does the media keep giving him air time. I know I'm not the only person who feels this way! Read some of the Comments at Blog Critics. The post Tom Cruise: Still Smiling Still Babbling, Psychiatrists Strike Back. Maybe if we all ban together we can have him committed and muzzled!!!

Is Tom Cruise Bipolar?

Like to many people across the country I too am peeved with Tom Cruise and his anti-psychiatry spiels. On the Today Show this past week he told Matt Lauer that he knew the real history of Psychiatry. OK, Tom do you plan on telling the rest of us? Or do we need to spend all of our money and become Scientologists first? Instead of just telling us all how smart you are and that you know the real deal about Psychiatry why don't you actually tell us what it is?

I find it ironic that Tom Cruise is so obsessed about telling the world to stay away from prescriptions medications which help people with Attention Deficit Disorder and Depression. His behavior over the past month or so seems like he is either totally high on some illegal drug himself or he is severely Bipolar and having a real manic episode.
