Am I the only person who thinks this whole James Frey / Oprah thing is hilarious? The fact that Oprah is blown away that a drug addict would lie is cracking me up. We all know it's not the fact that James Frey lied but the fact that Oprah screwed up that she is upset about. Maybe instead of making herself look better by calling James Frey out she should educate herself a bit more about drug addiction.
I think Oprah also needs to make sure her own staff does their work. Oprah you screwed up just as much as James Frey and his publishers. Who would have thought a lying drug addict would be the one the make queen Oprah look bad.
So we have a unknown drug addict who wrote a book with lies in it. Then one of Oprah's staff reads the book and liked it. Oprah brought the guy on her show and his book became a best seller. People accuse this guy of lying and his book gets even more people buying it. Oprah has him on the show again and his book gets even more press.
So lying to Oprah makes people money! Let's all lie to Oprah.

I agree with you 100%. I think making a fool of Oprah is great money making scheme. I'm still working on how I can pull it off.
