An upset bird

Earlier this evening I was out in my back yard with my cat pepper. There was this little bird that kept making a weird chirping sound. I don't know if it was calling its mate or warning the other birds about the cat. For all I know pepper and her little friend could have caught the bird's mate earlier. This bird kept squacking at us for close to an hour and even followed pepper and me into the front yard.

I finally went inside because the bugs started biting me. The bird kept on squacking. It finally stopped after it go dark out. I wonder what the deal with the bird was.

Maybe I will never know...
